Salinas River

These images were composed over the course of six years of exploration of the Salinas River and Valley. The project was a riff on the work done during the 19th Century by Karl Bodmer an artist who 'explored' the Missouri River.

Roman Antiquities

Many of these drawings and paintings bear a relation to 19th Century drawings of Antiquities as they were discovered. here we have antiquities with the modern city surrounding them.

Veterinary:Horse/Cow

These images evolved from a series of paintings and drawings of racehorses. once I happened upon a photograph of a horse lying on its back on an operating table, I was hooked.
